Programme — what is it?

The ATF Hosted Buyer Programme is designed for senior travel industry buyers who are qualified through an application process at the Africa Tourism Forum & Fair.

Accepted buyers participate in a multi-day exclusive programme focused on high-level business meetings, networking and market access.

To apply for the programme, fill out the Hosted Buyer Application Form at the bottom of the page. It is recommended to carefully review the benefits, requirements and commitments before applying.

Eligibility Requirements

Are you eligible?

01Be a senior industry professional in leisure, MICE, luxury and corporate travel

02Hold direct purchasing and contracting authority

03Have active international operations or a clear strategy for expanding into African and regional markets

04Possess a verifiable annual procurement budget in relevant categories

05Be able to provide current business references (last 6–12 months)

06Comply with programme obligations and participation policies

07Proficiency in English at a level suitable for international meetings

08Adhere to the programme terms and conditions

Hosted Buyer Commitments

Post-acceptance obligations

Attend a minimum number of pre-scheduled meetings during ATF

Arrive before the fair opening and depart after it concludes

Complete personal and company profiles in full

Honour all confirmed meeting appointments

Attend all mandatory Hosted Buyer activities

Provide feedback and complete post-fair evaluations
