Africa Tourism Fair Egypt

Launched under the name Africa Tourism Forum and rapidly expanding within a short period of time, this organization is positioned as a significant platform aiming to integrate Africa’s tourism potential into the global tourism network. Organized by GMT Fair, the Africa Tourism Fair seeks to strengthen regional cooperation opportunities, bring Africa’s tourism industry together with international investors, and create new value areas for the global tourism sector.

The launch edition, Africa Tourism Forum, was held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, across an area of 10,000 m². Within the scope of the forum, 2,000 invited travel agency representatives from 67 countries were hosted, and a total of 3,077 professional visits were recorded. Across eight sessions, 25 speakers shared visionary perspectives on the future of African tourism. The forum attracted strong interest and was covered by hundreds of news articles in five different languages.

In light of this impact, GMT management decided to expand the concept into a full-scale Africa Tourism Fair format.
The Africa Tourism Fair Egypt, scheduled to take place in Sharm El Sheikh in 2026, is designed to showcase Africa’s tourism potential to the world and is expected to provide significant momentum to the continent’s tourism dynamics in 2026.
