About

AFRICA TOURISM FAIR

Africa Tourism Fair, which started as the Africa Tourism Forum and grew rapidly, is organized by GMT Fuarcılık, which aims to integrate the tourism potential of the African continent into the global tourism network. In addition to increasing regional cooperation opportunities, it aims to bring the African tourism sector together with international investors and provide a strategic impetus to the continent’s tourism.

The Africa Tourism Forum, the launch event of the fair, was held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in May 2024 on an area of 10,000 square meters.

Africa Tourism Fair 2025 Egypt (ATF25 Egypt), which we designed to create added value for Egyptian and African Tourism, will take place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt on May 22-23, 2025.

Africa Tourism Fair 2025 Egypt promises to be a dynamic platform for tourism professionals and investors where we will introduce Egypt’s key destinations (Alamein, Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh) and African countries to around 2000 invited travel agents from 20 countries. Over 5,000 professionals from more than 70 countries are expected to visit ATF25 Egypt and more than 100 tourism brands are expected to participate.

GMT FAIR ORGANIZATION

Established in 2019 under the umbrella of GM Center, GMT Fuarcılık is one of the fastest growing and most innovative fair organizations in the tourism sector. Started in 2019 on an area of 4,000 square meters, Antalya Tourism Fair continues to be organized on a huge area of 35,000 square meters today. The fair, which was held for the sixth time in November 2024, hosted more than 30,000 professional visitors from 78 countries, and 1,000 tourism brands met with the tourism world at 350 stands. Participants had a new experience in tourism fairs by making more than 20,000 B2B meetings.

GMT Fairs entered the international arena with the Africa Tourism Forum organized in Egypt in May 2024. The Africa Tourism Forum was held in Sharm El Sheikh on an area of 10,000 square meters and hosted 2,000 invited international travel agencies from 67 countries and 3,077 visitors in total. In eight sessions, 25 speakers shared visionary insights on the future of African tourism. Due to the intense interest and demand, the GM Center management decided to transform this event into a much more comprehensive Africa Tourism Fair.

This major fair, which will introduce Africa’s tourism potential to the world, will be held in Sharm El Sheikh on May 22-23.
